All new!

So last wednesday in art history class, the instructor asked if anyone would be interested in attending a study session friday morning at 9am. study sessions go towards extra credit, and since i did not know yet how i did on the exam, i raised my hand to show my support for the class and to represent the hard working city college student that i am. gw gave me a crazed look, but alas, his hand went up as well as he mouthed to me silently "are you serious?!? ur really gonna go?" i assumed that more people would raise their hands, so it wouldn't be mandatory that i actually show up for this study session, but when i looked around, only 3 people offered...crikey...
so this morning, we obligingly showed up, though 15 minutes late, and as soon as i walked in i realized it was a good thing we came anyways, cuz there was no one else in the classroom besides the TA that was giving the study session. it was cool though, having ur very own personal study session, didn't take very long either...it let out very early, and we got extra credit for it too...not that we need it =)

Hey guys...yeah, it's been a while since i last blogged...please don't delete me from ur links! i'm still in the game!
anyways, i got my midterm back this morning for art history class...got an A! my first exam in more than 3 years...must say, it was satisfying. before the instructor passed back our tests, she announced that she did not believe in the sharing of grades and that grades are a very personal matter. She promptly told us that she did not want to hear us talking bout it, and informed us that she would be walking left upon exiting the room, and if we wanted to share our grades, please exit right. (i hope she doesn't read my blog!) anyways, despite the warnings, as soon as gw and i stepped out the door, "what'd u get?" was the first thing that came out of our mouths. i was happy to hear that gw scored an A-, but i was also relieved that he got ONLY an A-...the instructor has been on to us lately and knows we collaborate on homework and such..but since he only got an A-, she's likely to assume that he's the one copying off me, not the other way around. =)

On another note, I took yet another personality test...this time it involves one of my favorite comics of all time...behold, i give u the what-calvin-are-you? test.
i'm stupendous man!

You are Stupendous Man!
You are simply amazing, whether you are battling your arch-nemesis Mom Lady, the nefarious Babysitter Girl, or the fiendish Annoying Girl. And you have absolutely nothing to do with mild-mannered Calvin.
